“Many people are becoming newly aware of how systemic racism and violence are impacting people of color. Even if you are new to the conversation, that is OK. Our 21 Day Challenge is designed to create dedicated time and space to build more effective social justice habits, particularly those dealing with issues of race, power, privilege, and leadership. Participants who sign up for the Challenge will receive daily tasks via email to help foster their understanding and awareness, with activities such as reading an article, listening to a podcast, or reflecting on personal experience.”

Hello Claxton and Asheville Primary Families and Friends,
It is with heavy hearts, but also with confidence, that we have decided to postpone the Jubeelee scheduled for this Saturday due to concerns over COVID-19.
We are so grateful to the businesses and families who have donated items for the event as well as to the parent musicians who volunteered to perform and the restaurants who planned to make food for the event. At this time, we do plan to reschedule the Jubeelee to a future date.
In the meantime, there will be an ONLINE AUCTION! Show your CLX and APS LOVE by bidding.
- We ask you to grab your own tasty beverage and join us from home on Saturday night or during the day Sunday as we auction off some of the items online! Bidding will begin at 6:30pm Saturday and will close at 6:30pm Sunday.
- Please share the link with friends and family across the country and around the world to help make this event successful for our schools!
For those who already purchased Jubeelee tickets, you will be able to use them for the postponed event, consider them a donation, or request a refund (please contact us through the BiddingOwl site).
We look forward to rescheduling the live event and will be in touch with new details as they become available. Thank you for your understanding and support during this situation.
