Each year, Asheville City and Buncombe County Schools participate in an excellent federal program called No Kid Hungry. The YMCA Food Bus will be coming to the Hillcrest, Pisgah View and Lee Walker Heights communities to offer all children age 18 and under a nutritious and delicious lunch. These are open sites in our city and no paperwork is required. You can find other locations in our county by calling 1-866-3-HUNGRY or go to www.fns.usda.gov/
Lunches will be available on every weekday between now and August 17 (except the 4th of July) from 11:30-noon at Hillcrest, 12:15-12:45 at Pisgah View and 1:00-1:30 at Lee Walker Heights. No enrollment necessary. No cost!
